This page contains JavaWIDE resources of interest to Advanced Placement Computer Science Teachers, as discussed during the workshop at the 2009 Advanced Placement National Conference in San Antonio. We had a great turnout and now there are several JavaWIDE sites set up worldwide to support AP Computer Science teachers and students. The map to the right includes all of the sites set up as part of this single session. Click on the pins to visit each of the sites. |

Setting up Accounts on Your SiteAs you begin to use your site, you'll need to set up accounts for your students. The easiest way to do this is with the Import Users feature located at /index.php/Special:ImportUsers. What you want to do is put in your own email address for the email part, and use a pseudonym for the students' logins and real names. It's best to do this to protect the online identity of your students. I have such a spreadsheet that I can send you that has a list of 40 video game character names with sample passwords. Send me an email and I'll send it to you: cjenkins@ggc.usg.edu. |
